Imagine Nepal carried out the following activities since its establishment in 2002.
Strategic Planning
Imagine Nepal successfully completed strategic planning through workshops and a series of discussions and meetings. The first workshop was held on September 21, 2003 . 35 participants participated in the workshop. Main objective of the workshop was to identify a strategic direction and identify the norms and values. After a series of meeting and discussions the vision, purpose, values were finalized. Training on Open Space Technology
Imagine Nepal organized training on Open Space Technology in Kathmandu on 13 October, 2003 . Michael Herman from Imagine Chicago facilitated the workshop. A total of 30 participants from different government and non-government organizations participated in the training. Participants made different action plans during the program.
Education and Peace workshop
Education and Peace workshop was organized in Staff College , Kathmandu . Dr. Mac Odell facilitated the workshop for teachers, planners and other peace activists. A total of 26 participants participated in the workshop.
Networking of change leaders
Imagine Nepal has established a network of transformational leaders and change agents. A range of ideas are discussed and implemented through this network. A number of Appreciative Inquiry programs, leadership development programs, and awareness raising programs were implemented.
Appreciative dialogue
Appreciative dialogue held among people from a range of groups.
Capacity building and AI facilitator development A number of talk programs and AI facilitations were done by the members of Imagine Nepal at central as well as district and community levels. There were also efforts to develop AI facilitators at different parts of the country.
Lesson learning and sharing The lessons learnt are being shared at various places. Members of Imagine Nepal shared the best practices in national and international fora. Experiences are being exchanged with a number of imagine initiatives worldwide.
Imagine Nepal Secretariat
Imagine Nepal has established a fully functional secretariat at Capital College and Research Center .
