2. Imagine Parbat

Imagine Parbat has carried out the following activities:
1. The solid waste and sewage management in Kusma Bazer (district headquarter) and improved      environment.
2. The Ad hoc committee of Imagine Parbat has reformed on 5th September 2003 .
3. Five day AI training was conducted in Kushm for 10 male and 17 female, September 27-          October 1, 2003 .
4. AI approach to health and sanitation training was conducted for nine women users' groups in     Bhorle and Byaulibas Village Development Committees (VDCs). After the training, groups have     constructed 184 toilets in these two VDCs.
5. Two-day AI training for the students of Sivalaya 10+2 High School.
6. Two inactive community groups Balkot VDC have been turned to be active of by using AI     approach.
7. Two articles written about successful stories on strengths of community published on "Abhimat"     and "Modi-Kali" local weekly newspapers.

 

3. Imagine Lalitpur

Imagine Lalitpur has following activities:
1. Two day AI orientation training for 13 Imagine Lalitpur team members in Dhulikhel, June 21-22     2003 .
2. One day AI orientation training for 30 Imagine Lalitpur's volunteers in Kathmandu .
3. Four-day Proposal writing and Fund raising Training for 15 participants with the financial support     of Swiss NGO in Kathmandu from October 22-25, 2003 .
4. Four Day AI training in coordination with ACCA (An NGO working in the field of environment)     and Lalitpur District Education Office for Secondary School teachers of Lalitpur district from     January 29- February 1, 2004 .
5. Imagine Lalitpur BS 2080 registered in Laliltpur District Administration

 


4. Imagine Dhankuta

Imagine Dhankuta District loose forum has been formed in the presence of Mr. Hem Chandra Bhandari, Central Member of NGO Federation of Nepal on 26 February 2004 . All these members have received Appreciative Inquiry orientation training.

 

5. Imagine Kavre

Fourteen members an ad hoc committee of Imagine Kavre district has been formed on February 28, 2004 . This group has received one day Appreciative Inquiry orientation training in Banepa.

 

6. Imagine Humla

One day AI training was organized with 23 participants including Chief District Officer (CDO), Nepal Army Captain, District Senior Police, Local Development Officer, District Forest Officer and other government officers and NGO and INGO leaders. At the end of the training, Imagine Humla an ad hoc committee has formed (Far Western remote district of Nepal ) for long term vision BS 2080 on May 13, 2003 .

 

C. OTHER IMAGINES

I. Imagine Bhutanese Refugee Camps Nepal
Bhutanese Refugee Women's Forum (BRWF) organized seven day "Leadership Strengthening through Appreciate Inquiry Training" in Morong Sanischare Bhutatenese Refugee Camp for the leaders of all seven refugee camps May 28- June 3, 2003 . Mr. Buddhi Tamang facilitated the training. Total participants were 43 from BRWF and 3 from Lutheran World Federation (LWF) staff including 29 women. At the end of the training, they have formed an Imagine Bhutanese Refugee Camp Network (IBRCN) to work through Appreciative Inquiry approach. Now the IBRCN is actively working in the camps.
The major objectives are:
a. Management of Bhutanese Refugee Camps in Nepal ,
b. Repatriation of Bhutanese Refugees to Bhutan , and
c. Rehabilitation of Bhutanese Refugees in Bhutan .

II. Nepal Imagine Tamang

Nepal Imagine Tamang BS 2080 team has been revised and is under the process of registration in Kathmandu CDO Office. The committee formed on 19th March 2003 comprises of 9 members for 1300000 Tamang population of Nepal . Four days AI training was organized for 28 participants. The committee has covered Nuwakot, Solu, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchok, Kavre and Kathmandu districts.
